when a pottery teacher divided the class into two groups, he discovered something. group a was to be graded purely on quantity of pottery created. group b was to be graded on quality.
if group a made 50 lbs of pots/ bowls etc, they got an a.
if group b made 1 pot that was near perfect, they got an a.
group a ended up creating far better quality pottery than group b.
to make good art, you just have to keep trying!
