Just realised I own the first book in this series. (Not sure I'm ready to read it right after Winter Tide, which flips the whole narrative, though.)

I picked this one out of Dans collection, not realising it was the third of a series... although with it all being short stories I don't think it matters other than this one not containing the original 'innsmouth' story

I don't think order matters in an anthology. Mine is called Shadows over Innsmouth and does have the original Shadow over Innsmouth novella, so it's just likely the first. Am laughing that there's a Kim Newman story and a Jack Yeovil story as one is the pen name of the other. (I checked and they're both on his bibliography, so not someone else with the same name.)
