It’s been ages since I’ve read Twain’s Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, but I’m loving this modern retelling (or recreation, really) of the story through Jim’s eyes—ones set on freeing himself and his family. You will move quickly through this adventurously moving story.

Fun spin on Mark Twain’s novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn but told from the perspective of Jim—a runaway slave. I love the way Everett has reimagined his character! Really enjoying it so far.
