The more I read this, the more I think of how poorly Burroughs speaks about the Finch’s, even tho they took him in rent free. Sure things weren’t perfect but they welcomed him with open arms. His siblings in this family were heartbroken by the way he spoke about them in this book

Just as good as I remember it being so far

I read this book once before and I remember loving it. I’m rereading it before reading Burroughs’ memoir “Dry”.
