i didnt get enough of the side characters here to care enough about their stories

i hate this book the more i ponder on it all
way to fumble it.

i wont be changing the initial two star rating

but yeah
🖕🏻 fuck the bullshit way this started and ended

luke the mmc
was the only guy that made sense from beginning to end
he’s really the only one that developed as a character

i hate this FUCKING BITCHASS FMC the more i think about it

i hate the ending

it ruined the story for me

on top of it being a rushed and completely lackluster ending for them all

the fucking inconsistencies were abhorrent

i cant even rn
i need to see what the next books are about

im not in the fucking mood for these fucking pearl thieves

there was one thing i was very clearly right about in my notes from my first read

this fmc is a stupid fucking dumbass bitch

somehow
she was infinitely more interesting, funny? entertaining, clever, witty, talented in the past than she was in her present day future

even the shit opening was bad

how is it that this fmc was only a good character when she was stuck in the fucking past idk

so this book started off shit
like i said
and i just know there was nothing there that i skimmed on that woukdve been improtant for the rest of the book
and i was right

everything from the moment the mcs met until the moment she went back to the future
was a solid three stars

bc everything after that
not the mmc scenes
but all of the future stuff
as well as the fmc scenes - absolute bullshit

^but

the rest hasnt been as bad as i remember

other than the scene with the mmc and a potential ow drama later i cant recall

as well as those fucking scumbag thieves

this fmc hasnt been terrible
the realization and adapting to the time displcement change was fairly quick and she’s thankfully not a complete idiot

she’s also snarky in a not annoying way

the mmc and his friend nicholas

so i skimmed and just skipped the first three chapters or so

i find i absolutely despise terribly written intros to books where we get a peek in the life of the main character

the gist i got from the little i cared to read
was this fmc is the daughter of divorced rich parents
and she doesnt like parties

i’m likely to think on this all day
and come back later to add it to my shit list so

i reallyyyyyy want to put this on my utter shit list

but i can’t deny there were a handful of moments i enjoyed

but is it enough to hold back the shit of how it started and the rest of the story????

ugh

i can only hope the next two fmcs are better off

i’m already predicting this diana to be a bitch
she seems like a bitchy friend

but she prob also compliments well with the fmc of this book so it makes sense why theyre best friends
