Interesting book. I can only read a little at a time, which is what is taking me so long to finish. It's a really good book but I expected GREAT considering it's prizes. Maybe it's just me. I do feel it's repetitious at times and that can become tedious - although I do understand the reasons. It's a long book so my slow reading of this will take a while longer!

This book is driving me bonkers. To say the characters are finely drawn is an understatement. And the story is tragic. The way the real & the imaginary are combined is smooth and believable. But the repetition is scream-making! I would totally love this book & understand its impact if some of the phrases had not been repeated over and over and over, and over! But, I've gone too far to quit!
