A 4.5 star story rounded down to 4 because I didn’t like the female narrator a lot of the time. Once I realised what was happening and I wasn’t so confused I really did enjoy the split story. I would’ve loved an epilogue of the lives of the two main characters on their original arc but after hearing the authors note I get why that wouldn’t have worked. .
