The second telling is done, with a grail and a crown now prophesied to be returned; and the revelation of Yvanne, of Tilda the Younger, of Lysabet II and many more queens, were all the same woman — a woman who once could not name one great woman in history, who rewrote history to bear all her names. And now, with the help of Dad, it’s Owen and Una’s time to rewrite the story — by running out of it.

The Grail is delivered, at the cost of the death of something wild and old and beautiful; and speaking of deaths, Una dies her first death — but not as expected, but in turning her back. It’s fascinating to see, how in the second reality, myth ripples out into politics, into fears of traitors and disloyalty. Now we’re onto the second telling, now going into Una’s perspective!

And so, Owen meets Sir Una Everlasting, the Drawn Blade of Dominion (and, to others, the Knight of Worms). So far, I’ve fallen utterly in love with Una — and so has Owen from the looks of it; and now, they have found the last dragon of Dominion (and perhaps, the grail to help save Yvanne?).
