I'm not really sold on this one... The characters have no personality and it's SO DENSE without any reason. This kind of books do very well when the characters are well-written, unlike here... Without strong characterisation, it's just a blob of complex sentences trying to sound deep – pretentious with very little to back it up (coming from what you'd call a 'pretentious' reader)
