i like the character Roylin because no matter what happens he"s always trying to find a way to make things right even though he knows everything that he did wrong. The girls he likes Korie loves the necklace but all his friends keep telling him that she"s a bad person and that Roylin should not go out with her anymore because she is just using him to get her stuff and to make him her pet and treat him like garbage.

in the book Roylin still feels guilt for killing Mr.Miller but all he can seem to think about is Korie and how surprised she is going to be once she sees that necklace. Roylin's friend told him that Korie seems like a bad idea but Roylin doesnt care. When he went home the babysitter Darcy was there and Roylin decided to brag to her and show her about the gift he got for Korie and he thinks Darcy should've dated him

i feel bad for Roylin because he is going through a lot right now and his friend had came up to him and told him that he does not think that the girl he likes Korie is a good idea and he thinks that something is wrong with him. he also had to help the apartment manager with cleaning the floors and Roylin's sister came by and made him really mad so he dumped a bucket of water on her head then his mom said hes like dad

in the book the person Roylin still feels bad about hiding the dead body but all he thinks about is the girl Korie and her birthday present

in the book Roylin helped the man move the dead body to downstairs into the basement and he felt really bad about it. He stayed up all night and he cried a lot and he has not cried a lot ever since he was five even when he was getting whoppings by his dad he didn't cry. All he could think about was Korie and how her face would look when he gave her the necklace and when he took her to dinner. He went to school

in the book Roylin is asking everybody for money because he cannot afford to buy Korie that necklace that she wants for her birthday.

i like the main character Roylin because he is trying to change his life because when he was little his dad used to beat him and his sister really badly and he quit football just to work more hours so he can help his mom with paying a car insurance and he meet a girl that he likes and he thiks his life is slowly getting better
