There was so much opportunity for subversion here and instead we went for the most boring and nothing ending.

There's an ending for this book I desperately want and I hope I'm right.

Okay I love Mrs. Smith. Every chapter with her is absolutely wild and exactly what I wanted.

Okay but there is something about mixing horror with the idealized suburban aesthetic that just hits. Also love that we get POV chapters with the monster.
