currently my favourite characters (by a long shot) are mael and avicus. they're so intriguing! i am very upset about the lack of femlare vampires tho... i know pandora and bianca will show up later, and we've just met eudoxia... but i guess a general problem with a lot of rice's books are that they're almost solely focused on the male characters for a large part.
