even though i figured peretur and nimue would get together, it feels off. maybe it’s because i read she was lancelot’s mother in some stories, but i think it’s because we don’t see nimue as a person. we see her past, her traumas, but she doesn’t feel real.
her and peretur went into each others spirits and hooked up but do they like each other?
the merlin and artos backstory is very cool

I wasn’t expecting Peretur to become so ruthless. Yes, she can feel the bandits souls or something, but she’s doing it because a random knight said they were an issue, for a king she doesn’t know. Excited about Nimuë. Lesbians?

first 20 pages were slow due to the complete lack of dialogue and obscure nature terminology.
i’m really excited about this. i love the fantasy aspects, and somehow i missed the lesbian mention on the jacket cover so another good surprise. It’ll be interesting to see peretur out of her depth for the first time once she gets to more urban(?) areas
