This is actually fantastic. I looked it up and he made this after east of eden. That’s what I plan to read after this. I’ll know next week. Only 8 pages in and it just immediately feels like the other book. I’m so happy about that. Some sequels (movies particularly) don’t feel the same.

Gosh it’s actually so fun seeing the different sides of these characters, the parallels to the first book, and their stories surrounding the new characters. I stopped after a chapter that I thought was very sweet. HAHA PUN NOT INTENDED BUT I NOTICED IT IMMMMMEDIATELY. IF YIU DIDNT GET IT ITS BECAUSE THE BOOK IS CALLED SWEET THURSDAY!!!!!

I’m really enjoying this. I think I’m reading this at a slower pace. That’s fine. I think I’ll read this more at home. I tend to zone out and I want to take in as much as I can.
