as I feared, this is bloated with backstory and context. I don’t like the shifting first person perspectives because they don’t add interiority and it feels like so much info dumping

God, I’m only 10% in and the shifting first person narration is going to kill me. I can’t believe we’re starting the book with Brianna having amnesia. Why is this 650 pages?
