I think if this was the first book I’ve read in this genre, it would be good, but everything seems unoriginal. Arya is too close to George RR Martin’s Arya. Brom is too close to Bran. Eragon is too close to Tolkien’s Aragorn. The tree people and dragons all seem replayed.

The audiobook narrator is just ruining the dragon’s voice, too. 😩
