Ch 10 - This whole chapter the author talks about everything related to consensus except what it exactly is. Same for Linerizability. He talks about it but never defines it until the summary section. Also he frequently references the broadcast protocol but the only definition of it is in a small footnote. He goes into tm detail yet no definitions, so I’ve been confused this entire chapter

In general I feel like this book is only helpful if you already know the technologies it talks about. B/c this book is not a good introductory book. It explains things in an overly verbose and complicated way. Like Ch 10 Consensus was really confusing for me b/c I’ve never encountered Consensus before and the book does not do a good job of explaining it
