This book is really hard to read. Where is my Emily Henry?????? This is NOT a EH book!!!
The whole going back and forth from past to present is not entertaining in the least bit.

… I’d like to thank my very good friend Om for letting me vent to her about this book. She’s the one getting all the updates.

I honestly would be lying if I said I was enjoying this read. I kind of not really recognize Emily Henry’s style in this. Also maybe it’s my hate for second chances in general but like how are you that flustered and all butterflies when your ex that you’ve been with for EIGHT YEARS reaches for your hand like come on now you’ve only been separated what? Few months??

I always say whenever I don’t feel like reading or whenever I miss reading but I’m in a slump I always go to Emily Henry and I’m always satisfied with my reading.

I do have some mixed feelings for this one though because one trope I really can’t stand is second chances… well I guess we’ll just have to see where it goes!
