I'll have to speak to my therapist about why exactly I put down a book with a beautiful story of lovers to read a book where the MMC is a jerk and torments the FMC. But for now...I'm going in! Lol! Hopefully he's my kind of jerk, I'm so picky with my Asshole H's!

Honestly, I'm surprised at how quickly he's turned himself around! I thought it would be the later in and he would be worse. He wasn't an enjoyable asshole to watch, but I think I understand him and also feel like his remorse is so much more believable than the majority of modern romances. Give me a picture of true regret over a bunch of "grand gestures" any day. That is what's missing from the modern grovel.

I read this book years ago. From what I remember, he’s a major a-hole and not in a good, sexy way.
