🥱🤷‍♂️🙈😬

This was a really solid chunk which I very much enjoyed.However,once again we are distracted by interesting parts as a result of unnecessary subplots which don’t grasp any attention.

🤷‍♂️ I don’t know what to say,it once again surprises me with its inconsistencies of brilliant storytelling.One one hand,Thatcher and Tom’s relationship endures rocky obstacles whilst on the other hand we are distracted by a ‘prank’

This book just improves as it progresses.
Each subplot has a true meaningful message.
I can’t wait to read more

The return!

I really loved these 14 pages seeing each of the boys suffer the consequences of their absence not only on their mental state but on those who love them.
It was really interesting to see Tom battle his pride refraining from showing weakness through his ‘valiant’ efforts on encouraging the boys to remain isolated from the world despite seeing what it did to their parents.

At some points,it is messy structurally with introductions of new characters and unexpected appearances of recurring ones.

Yet,I could not stop reading for an hour straight as I witnessed Tom’s battle against his subconscious.

I thought the whole sequence where he is overcome with guilt is truly a touch of class through impeccable craft.

I can’t wait to read about what happens next to this unlikely trio.

In some parts,it’s a bit messy and difficult to follow with introductions of new characters and unexpected appearances by recurring characters

Yet,I kept reading for an hour straight as I slowly dive into Tom’s battle against his conscience.
