Should I be surprised at Hamilton making a badass out of a bajillionaire again? I have been told it used to be an early staple of his but Archimedes Engine showed greater skepticism yet here we are again. Though optics aside it's real damn good badassery and the scale and intricacy of events in these few chapters is prime Hamilton. Though they could have closed the last book instead of opening this one
