Their mother is just pure evil, arranging for Olivia to be kidnapped is boderline insanity. The Reznikov family is also frustrating, but Base being their cousin was not what I expected. Xander is an asshole, but there is tension between him, his brother and Abigail got me smiley. Marching finally making love to Olivia was just the calm in the storm. They finally expressed their devotion, Malachi loves her so much.

What the fuck was their mother? She slapped Malachi just like his bio mom did, which was just cruel. I think I get Malachi, his intense need for Olivia and the fear he still harbors from her leaving him. I hate how she's keeping things from him especially about Xander, she always lies to him. She's unhappy amd scared, yet won't tell Malachi shit. Malachi with Molly was cute. Also that office scene was just a lot...

I am being so serious here; why can't they all just be happy? Olivia is asking to take things slow with Malachi and I get why. She wnats control back and be normal, but thats's also asking him to be normal which he can't. The cracks are slowly there. Also she's hiding Dangerously threats from him. Theri mom is a fucking evil human being. I am glad Olivia finally stood up for herself. But their mom still stayed firm.

Getting teh camping scene in Malachi's POV was great. I got to see the thoughts in his mind while they played their games. But what he did after was just wrong, he drugged and violated her? I mean I get he did that in the first book, but still she wrote that she wanted it. Here, she couldn't give her consent, but she liked it I guess. Though, the heartbreak he had when he found out she had her first was just so sad.

This book made me cry a bit for Malachi. Truly, he's my poor baby with all the shit that happened to him as a kid. He really believe that no one would ever love him. Everyone in his life left him. The fact that he suffered so much and yet felt the need to protect Olivia, but was losing her to marriage sucks. He would do anything for her -- he even wanted to marry her. But what he did to her while sleeping was wrong.
