I just read this last year but I can’t stop thinking about it. That “True Detective meets 12 Monkeys” quote on the cover is spot on.

Yeah I usually wait at least 5-6 years before I reread anything, and even then it’s only my absolute favorites (too many unread books piled up everywhere), but this one has haunted me relentlessly.
I re-read it a year or two after my first read -- I initially hated the end (which I still think is the weakest part) and rated it poorly as a result. But I couldn't stop thinking about it and appreciated the book as a whole far more the second time around.
