Lucy Foley is a favorite thriller writer of mine. I really feel that her earlier works like this one had good storylines but lacked character development.
IMHO she really upped her game when she wrote The Paris Apartment and then The Midnight Feast.
I listened 🎧 to The Paris Apartment and loved the narration. I felt that even the apartment building was a character. She also showed the reader the underbelly of Paris.
I am really interested in her upcoming Agatha Christie novel... Murder at the Grand Alpine Hotel which comes out September 22nd.
