I finished the unfinished memoir of Andrew Bevel. This Bevel person is much more of an egoistical narcissist compared to the mysterious prodigal trader depicted as Raft in the novel. He's the typical billionaire who tries to convince that whatever riches he has amassed, it is all because of his individual strengths (he does give credit to his ancestors but not how we see it - that he's rich because they were rich).

Initially it was very satisfying to see how this inert character is just good at what he does to the point where he amasses so many riches with an indifference to the said riches. 'For the love of the game' as we say nowadays. Then came in Helen who is yet another eccentric and now Diaz's ability to make me fully understand the mechanisms at work inside these otherwise impenetrable people is really impressive.
