I'm already one chapter in and so excited to continue reading this book. Here's one of many quotes that stuck out to me: "If I am to spend my whole life being transformed by the good news of Jesus, I must learn how grand, sweeping truths-doctrine, theology, ecclesiology, Christology-rub against the texture of an average day. How I spend this ordinary day in Christ is how I will spend my Christian life" p. 24 mic drop

"Instead, these small bits of our day are profoundly meaningful because they are the site of our worship. The crucible of our formation is in the monotony of our daily routines" p.34

This book feels very similar to the ruthless elimination of hurry - convicting and important (also the story about a professor hearing a student call Augustine's Confessions boring and then calling the student boring cracked me up)
