Finally getting somewhere! The breadcrumbs are slowly starting to equate to something. Really need some big reveals here by the end to go into book 2.

I mean, it’s an interesting storyline so far. I feel like there is a lot of extra that doesn’t need to be. Like I feel like we could’ve done a lot more world building with this. But I also know book one spends a lot of time setting up the characters. I’ve also heard the series gets better as it goes.

Finally starting to pick up the pace a little. Curious where we go from here.

Switching POVS in the middle of chapters is my number one pet leave when reading 😅

Interesting so far a little bit of a slow start, but also a little discombobulating because we have three POV’s in the first 100 page. The chapters also aren’t titled as POV’s, so it takes you a second to figure it out. I will say, I’m very pleased with my love of Viking lore because it is much easier to understand what’s happening in this book and understand the names.

This is a Viking themed romantasy and I am SO excited about this. Prepare to be sick of meeeeeee
