i love how you can see the seeds being sown in the letters as their relationship gradually blossoms. the letters are palpably intimate, it is from this intimacy that the letters draw its vibrancy from; the prose is delightful— the imagery, biblical references, and anecdotes draw you into kafka’s brain, no doubt milena was drawn too.
