I'm actually really liking it so far. It seems like a sharp commentary on fascism/imperialism. My only real problem was that the fake words, "she" pronouns for male characters, and multiple POVs from one character were hard to interpret while listening to the audiobook (although I really like Adjoa Andoah as a narrator), so I had to switch to physically reading it instead. I don't have an issue with those things, they were just confusing enough that I had to slow down and read it rather than passively listening. I find the AI's perspective, worldbuilding, and the political intrigue quite interesting... hopefully your issues don't come up in the second half!!
