Even Jazmín isn't good enough a mother for Eva, well, cry me a river.

No sympathies, almost every character in this book is privileged and obnoxious. Asshole, disgusting father, mothers are either good or bad, the boys are just not fully developed in the head it seems.

I get it, understanding where Eva comes from is important, but her obsession with Spain, Cordoba in specific is over the top, it's just becoming a bit redundant and boring to read. Scapism? Her not caring about her friends but wanting their attention, and having sex even when she doesn't want to? Those things are far more interesting to explore than just wow Cordoba is so pretty 🙄..

I'm so intrigued what the heck, my heart feels for little Eva😓.
