respectfully... i couldn't be less invested in the "x years ago" chapters

i have very mixed feelings about this book so far… but i can’t lie, seeing him be so inexperienced and awkward with the romantic stuff is kind of adorable

this book has been open for five minutes and i’m already judging everyone

i fear i'm not reading this because i'm enjoying it anymore.
i'm reading because i desperately need to know how this train wreck gets explained

this is my second lj shen book and the first one was such a disappointment

book gods, pls... let me love this one.
