Made a goal to expand my horizons… this is surely that. I am enjoying the “middle age” views of women and their role (or lack of) in society. I have found myself rolling my eyes and wanting to shake some of the men of the town when they speak. The women healers are praised but walk a thin line between what people believe is medicine and what they believe is witchcraft. So many deaths as a result of ignorance..
