I freakin called it from like Everett’s first appearance in the book. Of course he’s the mysterious hooded man and I bet Wren’s mom is the mistress of the Black Dahlia too.

This book reads like a fanfic I would’ve read 5 years ago. Good start and good fantasy concept so far, but it’s moving pretty quickly for a slow burn romance LOL. Kind of cringe to see all the yearning on Damien’s end after having a single one off encounter with Wren. But I’m excited to keep reading because I heard there’s a crazy twist at the end.
