DNF at 70%. I tried to see past the animal cruelty and sexism but it became repetitive and boring. I was interested in Eric and his story but ultimately gave up. It’s well written; I get the poetic nuance. Ultimately a pretty nonsensical story that maybe I just didn’t understand. 2.5⭐️⭐️
