Whomever the Karen was that inspired the author needs to be thanked. I love a book that shows consequences and compassion together in such a beautiful blend with complex characters.

Sad start, only because it deals with death right off the bat but it makes me think. I have family currently going through cancer and this is a peek into how he might feel. I also like how the book doesn’t push one religions afterlife but thinks of a way to have them work together but still be their own separate things
