Bearskin is a gritty, fast-moving thriller set deep in the Appalachian wilderness, where a man trying to outrun his past finds himself hunting ruthless bear poachers. Great writing, memorable characters, and enough twists to keep me turning pages. If you enjoy wilderness stories with plenty of suspense, this one is well worth your time.

I like the author's style, so I am moving on to his other novel, Panther Gap.
