Generally, I liked the book. I don’t know whether I thought the editing was poor or the storytelling itself. But I felt like the story skipped things, not letting the reader know something, but later, the missing detail was expected to be known with its background. It felt poorly fleshed out. But I enjoyed the characters and loved the metaphors. Considering whether or not I will read book 2.
