Undesignated Valet Unit (previously Charles) tries to take the police vehicle but it needed Birdbot and Birdbot was waiting for “Charles” so in all this cascading failure all UVU could do was walk to Central Services for assessment and diagnostics, it ponders its future like what if it goes to a manor that’s murder-tolerant or to be w a master who doesn’t shave lol

Before that task tho House assigned it to assessment to look into cause of motive etc but when House took back the name Charles as it belongs to the valet of the house and C was leaving he couldn’t take it w them, once relinquishing it the police task disappeared with it

In order to describe existence without master: Charles was a knot and masters death pulled at the ends (this metaphor was also used in alien clay)

As Birdbot gathers all robots in the house and Lune occasionally alerts that their recording systems are down and will be repaired within months, Birdbot says they need to find the murderer as the murder weapon is a razor as seen in CCTV of Charles murdering master. LOL

he reports all this to House as being inefficient and something is wrong but House says that’s just how things are and any error is his perception of not being able to amend commands given to him, and to cherry top this sundae, Birdbot comes in and says no one can leave there’s been a murder! Lmao

Despite no humans alive present the inspectors require talking out loud instead of linking systems, the ME robot examined master under private contract, went outside and then went back in to officially examine him under public contract…

Robot Inspectors Lune and Birdbot arrive, despite confessing to the murder they insist they just investigate if it is murder or not, since a robot confession could be at the behest of a human

He calls a doctor and the automated robot answers asking if his master is stable (technically yes since he’s unchanged in death) so his call gets bumped down in priority lmaoooo

He tries to feed him, drive him to the seaside in order to improve his mood but House doesn’t open the garage

Charles’ master has not left his house or had plans in years, while going through his daily morning checklist he gets a notification from the robots who do laundry that there were weird stains and when he goes to check his master in bed he’s found dead by razor, the smart House alerts them they’ve called the police as he’s been murdered by Charles
