Sorry could not go further than the first chapter/section of this as Elizabeth heard of Mary's death while she was at Hatfield not the Tower of London. Yes it is a work of fiction but the author states "almost all events mentioned pre and post Elizabeth's coronation are factual". So why start with something most Tudor fans would know to be incorrect.
