I'm dreading to read this book now but at the same time I can't put it down once I start. I always have to brace myself when reading it because it's becoming so emotional and heartbreaking. So many different perspective on the happening to read from, to relate to or to feel what they feel.

All the build-up, getting to know the characters, is now paying off! It's really really getting hard to read now, yet, I can't put the book down. Just anticipating and bracing myself that something bad might happen.

Tears were shed!! TT^TT It's really hard to read now. I keep on thinking if I were in Grace's shoes, what would I feel or do?

Shit's getting real! You can really see the shallowness mind of some noble ladies and toxic masculinity of the other gentlemen. The mindset of a servant/commoner and a noble really differs and it shows.

Writing is very textured and colorful for me, so many happenings and information but at the same time, the story isn't moving that much. Pacing is really really slow for me, I hope all this waiting and build-up will be worth it by the story progresses.

I really think that "The Game" has something to do with the "incident". The way the author writes feels unnecessary sometimes but it folds out by the end of the paragraph or chapter.

This is a very slow read because I want to absorb as much as I can. I keep on looking at my notes with the list of all the names mentioned always referencing if I missed something. Not much has happened so far but it's building it up.
