Well, it's my own fault. I loved the cover; that's why I bought it. I still love the cover. But this is a very YA book, and I've just never been satisfied reading a YA book. I'll keep with it for now, in honor of those colors on the cover. ;-)

Not sure I can finish this book. Apparently the author's previous books were YA, and this is the first one for adults. Really? This reads like YA to me and I very much do not like YA books. I'm always such an optimist. I think, surely the book will improve and I stick with it and it usually doesn't. hah! I love this cover. It's why I bought the book. I'm being punished for my superficiality.
