Started this and felt underwhelmed by the situation the characters are in. The "I have an unsatisfying life" genre is a downer. I read a book like that a while ago and was actively rooting for the married couple to get a divorce. They reconciled. Darn it. The other thing is that being a woman in mid-life myself, I don't identify with these women at all. I realize it's not a requirement to enjoy reading, but it helps.
