Not to be that girl but Jean valjean really did make his life harder by continuously trying to escape prison in the last year of each sentence.

I fear Les mis cannot be a work book it requires more focus but finally we have gotten to meeting Jean valjean

Maybe I’m stupid but god I really was not getting the purpose of book one. It literally starts by saying that this person hugo spends 70 pages talking about isn’t very important to the story.

Did not get as much done as I wanted to but alas this is what I get for waking up late. Really not sure why we are spending so much time on this bishop and his sister
