April being self aware is so incredible because it really feels like a full circle moment. It also reflects the intention that has gone into writing this story.

Aprils character growth is amiable. I feel sorry for Andy. His plot seems to be what happens when people forget their humanity and become tools for their own goals and purpose.

Seeing April through Mayas eyes is a wonderful experience. April has made the reader angry several times and you don’t often understand her, but Maya gets it. Her perspective is the missing part of the puzzle.

Just like the last one, I find my skepticism to be disproven and every writing choice purposeful. The feelings in this one are much deeper and cut through to the bone early on.

this one’s definitely deeper than the last. it’s like hank green was walking before he ran. andy is a surprisingly deep character, relative to how he is perceived by his others.
