nonverbal thought and nonintellectual speech woah woah!

ch 9:
this book just keeps making me fall in love with humans
"Jack and his family and friends invented their own alma mater"
"members of these self-constituting groups are particularly alert and responsive to the possibilities for unique, personal contributions from their friends"
i think what kathleen gibson means is a sort of immer zu werden niemals zu sein situation!
anyway. a warm and fuzzy feeling

re: sticks test: sounds like we're implying that improvisation is intelligence? which is a very pleasing and interesting idea to me

ch 9 graph 1 is so lit theory

got me going "awww :'))" over hands bro

i wonder if this left-right hand division of labor also affects the way we view human labor. like what work is considered important

on variability of handedness... making me think of how when i used to figure skate i preferred spinning to the left... but only for some spins? not all? idk

"perhaps the same is true of" this country...

i can't believe people know and can write this much about hands

regarding dexterity.. like yes but also why does the violin kind of work the opposite way..
