Well, idk what it is, but I think Kathleen’s writing is music to my ears, bc what ya meant I read 50 pages already?!
And I really like how real the book feels. You can sense Tiger’s angst just by her thoughts. I really love that this doesn’t feel like storytelling and more like you just inside someone’s mind.
That said, this book is gonna be devoured 😁

I feel bad for Tiger. But DEAR GOD, there’s more than a lot going on and it’s not been even a week since her mother died… she has a dad. Dusty. Dustin. He’s in jail, but she has a half-sister who actually accepted to be her guardian. WHAT?!

Poor Tiger… that girl shouldn’t be going through all of this starting less than 24h after she lost her mother…
You can clearly see she isn’t herself. She’s so confused and aloof. And yet, she’s not completely alienated to the world. It’s a really interesting mix!
