Ok some good info here- I’m all for neutralizing food and not labeling them as “good” and “bad”. But, the author trying to make obesity a simple issue of “just change what and how much you eat!” totally disregards the true complexities of the crisis. Food deserts, socioeconomic factors, etc. I can not finish this chapter soon enough

Chapter 14 is pissing me off as a dietitian. So many false claims here about RDs being tainted by big food, prescribing “one fits all” diet plans, not having to disclaim any partnerships with brands (if even applicable at all), and “recommending and regurgitating info of diet fads” as a method of weight loss. One bad dietitian does not equal us all. Questioning if he’s even worked with one at all
