* girl who lost everything (money, standing, home, family, magic) and wants to get it back
* Multiple potential male love interests
* Handsome prince who is an asshole but also seems to be hiding secrets about his true motives.

I just came across a trope I hate, though - the "this sword is too heavy for our frail malnourished fmc to pick up" trope. Ew.
