ive fallen irrevocably in love with verghese's style of writing. this book has all the ingredients of "i'm definitely adding this to my favourites list": (1) the well-curated characters, (2) their journeys as expats spanning through different continents, (3) the flow of the storytelling (4) the language of medicine & the way verghese takes us through, medic or not, the story with such verbage tinged with romanticism.
