Idk why but I am struggling to get into this book. Like, I've been forcing myself to read every page thus far. Anyone read this and can tell me if it gets better? How long do you guys give a book until you DNF?

As a Canadian, the idea of tons of people casually showing up to my gender reveal with guns holstered is WILD. I know in the US that's probably completely normal, especially depending on the state, but I cannot imagine. If a single person showed up with a gun I would be scared wondering why and thinking they're gonna kill someone 🤣😅

I give them a chapter or two and if by then I’m still struggling, I just put it down. Life is too short to have to read a book I don’t like.

I actually listened to this one and the overall experience was better! I don't DNF but I should! I think if the first 25% - 30% is tough then just walk away... I hope the next one is a hit!
